keep in mind that the size limitations of the military postal service do apply to all of them, so for really big items, e.g. furniture, your only option is AAFES or a local store, some electronics (even DVDs at times) are restricted too because of warranty issues (I did have a really good experience with Amazon, ordered all kinds of stuff dozens of time from them, often free shipping and it is usually pretty fast)

Be aware if a seller ships through UPS or FEDEX exclusively, it will still get to you, but will take weeks or month b/c they go parcel post on a space available basis from Dover to APO/FPO

I never shopped at Kmart until I moved out here. They ship to APOs and the shipping is usually cheaper than if I were shipping it to the US. The stuff always gets here in about a week. Cabellas also ships to APOs. We ordered all of our winter gear from there. It only took 10 days to receive the stuff

Gap and Banana Republic ship here. We have ordered there several times and it has come within 7 days and it's only a $7 shipping charge even if you order from all the listed Old Navy owned stores. Plus free shipping on any returns
